Alaska’s behavioral health employers participate in the SHARP loan repayment and direct incentives program. If you are a Clinical or Counseling Psychologist (Ph.D. or equivalent), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Master’s or Doctorate in social work), Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse (RN), Physical Therapist, Physician Assistant, Registered Clinical Dental Hygienist, Pharmacist, Dentist (DDS or DMD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.), or Doctor of Allopathic Medicine (M.D.) you may be eligible to receive payments in exchange for providing healthcare services in Health Professional Shortage Areas and at other select sites.
