Brown Bag Lunch: Co-occurring Disorders - Alaska Family Services Training Center and Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation

This Brown Bag session provides behavioral health leaders with a general introduction to the principles of integrated treatment for Co-occurring Disorders and the rationale for enhancing and improving current practices. In addition, leaders will be introduced to strategies to examine their agency’s current co-occurring capabilities.

Session Objectives:

  • Define integrated care principles in the context of co-occurring treatment.

  • Discuss the rationale for enhancing and expanding co-occurring capabilities.

  • Describe the Dual Diagnosis Capability in Addiction Treatment (DDCAT) assessment process.
